I used to put a basketball in my backpack and ride my bike up to the courts next to the pool in town just to watch the girl I had a crush on swim while I shot around. I was 16 and I got pretty good at basketball. I would listen to this song on my CD player. The Sun would set and I just be shooting repeating this song over and over. Every time I hear it now I think of those days and how much hope and life I had. I wish I could go back. It was an amazing thing being young in the 90′s.

I miss the 80s and 90s.. Back before the police state.. Before technology became our other dictator.. back when people were still treated like humans.. when love meant something real, and you couldn’t be enemies with someone you don’t even know.. When people trusted other people, without having to see proof that they’re still good. Back before all the fighting and hate. It was a good place to be, back then. Thanks to Goo Goo Dolls, Live, Bush, and Nickleback for all the great songs/ memories! <3
