Cackleberries and Variety International Partnership

Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) March 31, 2012

Cackleberries Entertainment Inc. is moving into the next phase of its partnership with Variety International the Children’s Charity. The partnership launched at the end of 2011 when the company donated $ 30,000 in memberships to Variety, allowing up to 6,000 children free access to their virtual world of educational games and entertainment.

On Valentine’s Day, Cackleberries opened a Variety House in its virtual and interactive world called Oville. The house features a brand new Cackleberry character named Charitee who is confined to a wheelchair. Charitee is seven years old and lost her bounce in an accident that happened at birth. Inside the virtual Variety House, children can read stories about Charitee, learn the appropriate vocabulary for talking about special needs, as well as play the Ramp Builder Game in which players build a ramp to help Charitee complete an obstacle course.

Aside from raising awareness about special needs children and Variety International in general, the Cackleberries-Variety partnership also involves fundraising for the charity. Variety currently has 43 chapters in 13 countries. Through its partnership with Cackleberries, the organization hopes to expand its membership and donation base around the world.

Currently, visitors to the Cackleberries website can receive a one-month free membership to the virtual world of Oville when they make a donation to Variety. Looking ahead, CEO Eronne Foster said, “Each Variety chapter will be able to take advantage of the virtual Variety House and our online fundraising programs to further raise awareness of our joint message and reach a new audience.”

According to Foster, future fundraising efforts will include a Variety-branded “frobit” doll—frobits are friendly bug-like creatures that children encounter as they explore Oville—that can be purchased with a donation to Variety and will include a membership to Oville. The company is excited about generating new fundraising ideas that will benefit children with special needs and promote Variety around the world.

Le meuble a été acheté sur ebay, puis paint en blanc par moi, vernis et rempli.
Miniature au 1:12 ème pour maison de poupée de collection.

After one week at daddy and mommy in Berlin, I’m back! And here a colorful and cute candy cabinet, filled with various sweets, candies, lollipops, cupcakes, donuts and other treats. The furniture has been bought on ebay, painted and filled by myself.
